The 2008 state-wide institute will showcase the best practices of exemplary service-learning and engaged scholarship from the kindergarten classroom all the way to graduate school (K-20). We encourage the involvement of students, faculty and community partners from a variety of perspectives, who can contribute to a rich dialogue and diverse disciplinary frameworks. Our overarching goal is to convene those who are interested in service-learning and engagement to share ideas, practical application strategies and research findings, while building networks and partnerships, to advance service-learning and its impact in Florida.
